Why The Mom Guide

I have lived in Virginia Beach most of my life. As a kid growing up here, a young adult creating a life here, and now a mother raising a family here, I could not imagine a better place to be.

Virginia Beach offers us moms a lot. Its just figuring out where to find that wealth of information and activity. If you are like me you have web sites booked marked, a collection of local kids magazines and brochures, scraps of paper noting cool places or activities you find out about from other moms, none of which are where you need them when you need them.

As your Mom Guide to things to know and do in Virginia Beach I hope to change all of that. What you will find here are listings to resources and activities useful to you as a mom, whether you have infants, preschoolers, elementary or high school children. What you will not find here is a regurgitation of what these sites offer. What I want to provide you is quick and easy access to what you are looking for so you can get on with your day.
